Free cupcake samples at LA Fitness on Toco Hills

Posted this on Twitter earlier today - Mark from Apothecafe will be handing out free samples of our cupcakes and much more at LA Fitness in Toco Hills today starting around 4pm. Go get 'em! I am not sure how long "supplies will last". So, if you're headed to the gym anyways, stop by and grab a mini cuppie.

Just as we were thinking of retiring Pumpkin Spice until the Fall, someone that had tasted them at an event earlier this month ordered them today.

I'm really looking forward to making a delivery myself tomorrow. I actually hope I get to do it personally if my schedule permits. It is for a local business here in Atlanta and I am so glad they are showing us love, wanna show it back to them personally. Now more than ever, we really need to support each other and I'm so glad they took that first step!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Hope it was fabulous. It was baking, baking, baking over here but we got through it all with nary a baking scar. Thanks to all our customers - we hope your events were a great success.

On a personal note, it was great fun surprising the teachers at my son's school with our St. Patty's Day cupcakes. I am working really hard to be the coolest mom. I think the bribery worked. For today at least!

Delivery Driver Needed

Okay, y'all. No pressure on the 7 people that read this blog (6 followers and Daisy LOL). Lenox Cupcakes needs a delivery driver and it is pretty urgent. Seriously, if they could start tomorrow, that would be a blessing. Here's the ad that I was planning to post on craigslist:

Part-time Delivery Driver needed immediately for Atlanta bakery. Must have: reliable transportation, valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record, ability to follow directions, friendly attitude and disposition. As our Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring that our baked goods get to their final destination safely. As a result, we need someone that is reliable and has great customer service skills. This position offers flexible hours. Come be a part of a fun team!

Some time ago, we showed the city of London, England some love in this post. Now, it's time for us to show the same amount of love to Singapore which is where one of our orders came from. Don't you just love the Internet? I know I do! It brings us all closer and closer. It also ensures that special events in the lives of loved ones don't go by unnoticed because of a little thing called distance. Imagine that!

Red Velvet - chocolate-flavored cupcake with vanilla cream cheese frosting
Chocolate Whisper - light chocolate buttermilk cupcake with vanilla cream cheese frosting

• Lucky (Irish) - brand new flavor - hadn't made it an official flavor but someone ordered it based on rumors she'd heard. Take a guess... Okay, it's our dark chocolate cupcake topped with our silky smooth buttercream with an Irish twist. That's all I am allowed to say!
• Vanilla-Vanilla - vanilla cupcake with creamy vanilla buttercream
• Dark Chocolate Bliss - dark chocolate cupcake with creamy chocolate buttercream

Boys & Girls Rule!

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta held an art contest within their clubs to see who would come up with the winning artwork for a birthday card. The winning artist and club were honored with a party in February and Lenox Cupcakes was delighted to have been a part of it.

Here’s a sneak peak at the winning artwork. I love how the artist, Zareeyah, age 12, incorporated the Boys & Girls Club logo into the cake. Brilliant! Love those balloons - too cute!
