Happy (rainy) Tuesday!
We had such a fun art party last Friday...our winners brought their family and friends over to brag about their wonderful work of art while nibbling on some of our cupcakes, of course. It wouldn't be a party without us :-).

We can't believe it's March already! Phew! But we're not complaining. In fact, we're ready for spring over at Lenox Cupcakes - and speaking of spring, check out Swoozie's Spring catalog for some lovely treats from yours truly that will make you swoon and drool!
It's no secret that we love Swoozies, so the opportunity to be featured in their Spring catalog was something we couldn't pass up on. Plus, we got to dress up our favorite treats in the world - cupcakes, whoopie pies and cake pops - for a fun photo shoot! We don't like to brag, but those whoopie pies were mmm mmmm good! So good, that we're thinking of having them at the store...thinking...;-)

Hi everyone! Hope you enjoyed the beautiful weather this weekend!
We wanted to let you know of an upcoming event on Wednesday, February 23rd from 7-9pm. This time we're working with Creatively Yours, a fun place to express your artistic side in a fun environment (think cocktails)! On Wednesday, themed "Lenox Cupcakes Night," artists will paint portraits of cupcakes as part of a standard Cocktails & Canvas painting session.
Three winners will be selected based on creativity and originality, and each will receive a gift certificate for one dozen cupcakes! Plus, all three winning paintings will be showcased on the main wall of the store, and Lenox Cupcakes will host an artist showcase at the store on Friday, February 25th from 6-8pm. The paintings will remain on display in the store for some time, so come by and check them out!

Hello cupcake lovers! It's February!
We're so excited to announce yet another fabulous event to make your lives sweet! This time, we're doing something for the brides-to-be, their friends, family, and just about anyone who loves our cupcakes! We present, "How Sweet It Is," a bridal social that gives brides-to-be access to a fun event and some cool vendors!
Starting on Valentine's Day (Monday February 14), our store will get a "Wedding Wonderland" face lift! Stop by all week and view the Wedding Window transformation by Studio Wed, Atlanta's premiere wedding group. We'll have cupcakes (of course), stunning wedding table décor, floral design, couture wedding gowns, wedding stationery and much more on display!
Then (yes, there's more), on Saturday February 19, we'll have a Bridal Social from 2-4pm at the store. Vendors will be there, and so will cocktails and our delicious cupcakes. Brides-to-be can mix and mingle with top wedding vendors in a fun, relaxing atmosphere!
We hope to see you there, and don't forget to enter our Cupid Cupcakes Valentine's Day Giveaway. We love our cupcakes lovers that much!

Our cupcakes have been making their rounds, and their latest adventure has been at the Lenox Square Crate & Barrel with a bunch of fabulous brides-to-be! Crate & Barrel at Lenox has been hosting wedding parties for brides-to-be, and we're pleased that our cupcakes were invited too, even though they never make it our of there alive (but we're happy about that).
Crate & Barrel at Lenox allows brides-to-be to mix and mingle for two full hours, and provide music, food, drinks, and tasty treats (including our cupcakes). And, they also have an expert on site to advice these ladies on registering. The next event is this Sunday, October 24 at 9am, and we'll be there with tasty cupcakes!

Swoozie's is back! Yes! My favorite store for personalized invitations, paperie, and all kinds of snazzy gifts, is back and I couldn't be more excited. My friends and I mourned the loss of our favorite store's location in Brookwood and more recently sent each other "Swoozie's is back!" emails to announce the fact that they were moving to a new store in Buckhead!
Now, not only is Swoozie's back, but thanks to Sharon of Sweet Sensations for the referral, Lenox Cupcakes will be setting up a Cupcake Bar at Swoozie's grand opening at Chastain Square tonight from 6-9pm. It is hard to tell you what this means to me. First of all, I love all things Swoozie's. I would be their mascot free of charge, if they asked me. Second of all, I have been admiring Sharon's work at Sweet Sensations for a while now. To get a call from her to do this is like winning the lottery. Nothing beats this. So, my friends, I am beyond excited and with more notice, I would have gladly dyed my hair pink and orange in honor of this awesome day. Alas, I've got to be all professional about it :-)

I've been meaning to post about a Ladies Shopping event at The Pink Ribbon Link on Friday, November 6th from 6-9pm. The Pink Ribbon Link is a unique boutique geared toward, but not limited to, breast cancer awareness. They specialize in handcrafted, custom and one of a kind gifts, jewelry and artwork. They are partnering with several other vendors to bring you a shopping event right in time for the Holidays. Not that anyone asked, but here's what I would totally get this fall - one's kinda sensible, the other's kinda reckless. No prizes for guessing which is which.
I'm up early because my internal alarm clock has a GREAT sense of humor. I was thinking about how last night's event went and thought I would blog about it. Overall, it was a great turnout, great crowd to support an excellent cause. You should definitely check out the work the Rally Foundation does, I learnt new facts about childhood cancer and they mentioned ways to help fund their work.
The show started off with the presenters in Betsey Johnson dresses, very nice and very wearable. I think the keyword there is wearable. You see some shows and you think, "that's nice but I wouldn't wear that". The clothes shown were beyond gorgeous and there are some simple yet chic pieces that I'd like to get. The only confusing thing was at some point, I wasn't sure what was Rene Rene and what was Betsey. The headpieces I think were Betsey but the models (Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders) were wearing Rene dresses that looked like Betsey type colors. I wish you were there, you'd know what I was talking about.
Oh and the cupcakes - I totally forgot my camera at home which is why all you are getting is TEXT! I could have kicked myself for doing that. I'm not a great photog but I would have loved to share what we did in terms of the cupcakes. I noticed a man with professional cameras and asked if he would take some pictures and he was kind enough to. He was there to take pictures of the cheerleaders but happily obliged my request. I'll update this post as soon as I get them. And another thing? I asked someone else to take a picture of my sisters and me and email it to me. Totally random right, to be asking someone you don't know to take your picture? I hadn't been out with them in forever and thought why not.
As I mentioned, I'll update this post with the pictures when I get them. Can I just say that now I get what my friend from Chicago means when she says Atlantans are beautiful. Seriously, she always says that when she's here. And I just never got that. However, yesterday, people just looked picture perfect. Maybe it's just me. I do live in a cave or an oven, whichever you prefer.
UPDATE: Got the photographs last week but have been rather lazy about putting them up. I really am thankful to TJ for taking these photos! As you can see, we stayed true to the Falcons colors and paid hommage to Bestey Johnson with our red frosting fused with black.
Lenox Cupcakes will be providing the cupcakes at the 2009 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleader Meet N Greet. They'll be modeling designs by Betsey Johnson kicking of the Betsy Bday Bash Sale. This event is benefiting the Rally Foundation for childhood cancer research. It is a party with a purpose so come have fun and support a great cause while you’re at it. Hope to see you there!!

Experience both at Cole Haan at Phipps Plaza tomorrow. Get there between 9am and 12pm, they are having a hush hush sale to introduce their clients to the new Spring '09 Line. A little birdie tells me that there’ll be discounts as well as Lenox Cupcakes – YAY for both! Here’s what I would get (or perhaps what someone should get me, hint, hint).
love, love, LOVE these!Yesterday, we spent a greater part of the morning out in the community handing out cupcakes to the Survivors, friends and children of Survivors at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event. It was an incredibly emotional experience being out there. It is hard to describe the unity of people coming together to fight this disease. It was a celebration of the people who fight this disease daily. It was like they were saying "we are here, we are not going anywhere" and the rest of the community was there to back them up.
